How Nattrols are produced?
NATtrol positive controls and test validations are prepared from purified microorganisms that are grown in either cell culture, microbial culture or isolated in the plasma of infected people.
The NATtrol treatment modifies the surface and leaves the organisms non-infectious and fridge stable, while retaining the whole genome. The inactivation of organisms is confirmed by absence of expansion in validated tissue culture-based infectivity assays or in validated development protocols (as important ).
